SPY REPORT
The tide rolls in, the tide rolls out, and somehow I am still chained in this
invisible prison while Olaf Modeen keeps borrowing my good lines. Fortunately for you
lot, I have reclaimed my rightful place. Unfortunately for you lot, I have opinions.
Welcome back to Niytyole Island, where the food is horrible, and the company is
somehow worse.
The warriors of this smelly rock continue to make a spirited effort to entertain me
while I wait for rescue or a giant explosion. This turn belonged to the Big Lake
Bandits, who continue to ride high on the waves of arena success. Dima Pinkytoe
defended the throne with ruthless gusto, smashing Error and securing another
successful crowning ceremony. The Bandits also posted a 5-0 turn to remain firmly atop
the standings.
The biggest climb of the turn in regards to recognition belongs to Cruel Nights, who
surged forward with a 4-1-1 performance. Lady Thornkiss carved Ja Pet Oh and collected
a healthy pile of recognition in the process. The Illearth also deserves a mention
with a perfect 5-0-0 turn, which is enough to make an old pirate nod in approval.
The honor of the most avoided team goes to the Big Lake Bandits. They were mostly
avoided by Mercenaries Inc. M.U.M.ers had the distinguished dishonor of having the
most sought-after warrior in the arena with Papirtiger. Keep your head on a swivel,
they are coming for you!
The island bids farewell to Misses Andy Claws, who has earned passage to the advanced
arenas after a long career on Niytyole. We have to assume that only one turn remains
before Dima Pinkytoe will get a similar invite. If he does get the call, every
ambitious contender on the island will be sharpening their steel and plotting their
challenges.
The arena remains remarkably active, with Big Lake Bandits, Siren's Song, and Obsidian
Hall, and several others battling for position. There are still bloodfueds to settle,
veterans making preparations for the Isle of the Eye, and new warriors who want to
test their luck on the sands. In other words, exactly the sort of power-grabbing chaos
I expect from Niytyole Island.
Until the next time, watch the horizon and prepare your sword. I will not be on this
rock forever.
