SPY REPORT
The tide whispers her secrets to me this afternoon, and I, still in my invisible cage,
still hear her every breath. A cage is just a ship that has yet to sail. From this
prison isle, I watch your little arena, your little battles, your tiny triumphs. I
count your ships, your captains, and your dead. Every clash on the sands becomes
another ripple in the waters you do not understand. Oh, how the waters churned this
turn.
That thorny brute, Blackberry Thorn, still clutches the Duelmaster's crown like a
barnacle on a hull, fending off XIK02-THO with enough grit to keep breathing another
cycle. I've witnessed storms tear stronger things from their moorings, yet no one has
been able to move Blackberry Thorn. You get one last chance next turn. Blackberry
heads for the Isle. He's marked by the ice witch now; everyone sees it.
The sands belonged to M.U.M.ers this turn, surging like a sudden squall to seize the
top spot with a brutally efficient 5-0-1 showing. Obsidian Hall did the opposite and
sank like a leaky dinghy. A 1-4 turn and down they go. Big Lake Bandits are circling
like sharks, while Dark Mechanicum climbed fast, gears grinding, up six ranks to
third. And my favorite little melody-makers, Siren's Song, steady as the tide and
waiting.
Deaths came quick and ugly, just how I like them. Bur Slashwratch was butchered by
that delightful menace, Head Scrambler. Aching Fingertips met a messy end at the hands
of Booty Ho. And the bloodfeuds for former deaths? Ahh, those were like poetry.
Tempest Red avenged the fallen, carving through Field Keepsname with the rhythm of a
bloody sea shanty. Revenge is a language I speak fluently.
A few other moments were worth scratching into driftwood, including Papirtiger leaping
up the ranks and tearing Anneli apart like a sail in a gale. Grunge crushed
SomeCallMeTim, proving some risks pay in blood and glory. Bungee Lipps made short work
of Wyldfyre. Quick. Brutal. Efficient.
Big Lake Bandits were the most avoided crew. No one wants that smoke. And, The Wasting
Field avoided them the most. Ah, the dance of fear and pride. I've seen it before on
the waters... right before a fleet burns. SomeCallMeTim got more challenges than the
Duelmaster. Bah, I would call you cowards, but that would be too much of a compliment
for you plankwalkers.
The alliances of the arena are shifting, going in and out like the tide. Crews are
gathering strength. Blood debts unpaid. Ambition swelling like a storm surge. Beyond
our horizon, sails are raised and racing toward Niytyole. Not yet. But soon. When the
tides turn, Niytyole will not just host battles; she will drown in them.
Until then, fight well, little gladiators. Grow strong. Win your crowns. It will make
the taking of them all the sweeter.
