Citizens of Aradi! Wake up! Open your eyes! Stop staring at the moon, which doesn't
exist, and start paying attention to the REAL threat lurking beneath our noses! This
week I have uncovered evidence of a vast and ancient conspiracy. The so-called
"Fromager Guild," a shadowy cabal of master cheesemakers, is making its move against
the government of Aradi! You think those wheels of cheese are for eating? FOOLS!
They're communication devices! Every wedge is a coded message! Every wheel is a vote
stolen from honest citizens! How else do you explain this turn?
Anja of Far Travelers remains undefeated and crushed Shadowloop to retain the
Duelmaster's throne. A perfect record? Suspicious. Very suspicious. Have you ever seen
Anja and a wheel of aged mountain cheddar in the same room? Exactly.
Far Travelers still boasts the arena's best career record, but Tinfoil Mafia continues
to control the team standings, posting a 10-5 mark over the last three turns. The
Tinfoil Mafia claims they oppose conspiracies. Convenient. That is exactly what a
conspiracy would say.
A big surprise for the turn came from newcomer Murphy. The fresh-faced warrior stormed
into the arena and flattened Princess Jade in his debut. Wind Chill now has control of
the Unchartered ranks. Coincidence? Or was he supplied illicit battle plans inside a
hollow block of smoked gouda? You decide!
The Iron Duke continues to strengthen Neon Royalty's position by demolishing Badger,
while Prince Layoun and Baron Yoynich also collected victories. Neon's crew gained
considerable ground this turn and appears ready to challenge the established order.
Which established order? Glad you asked! The cheese establishment, naturally.
As for arena gossip, Baron Yoynich earned Fight of the Turn honors and appears to be
building momentum among the younger warriors. Keep an eye on that one, unless the
Fromager Guild gets to him first. It is also rumored that Neon Royalty was the team
most avoided. Count it as fact. A trusted slice of brie gave me the information. Far
Travelers scattered at the first scent of Neon Royalty, as if they were carrying a
block of Linberger in their pockets.
Now for the truly alarming evidence. Have you noticed that wheels of cheese are round?
Have you noticed that shields are round? Have you noticed that coins are round? The
pattern is obvious. The Fromager Guild is preparing to replace government one dairy
product at a time. Remain vigilant. Examine your cheese for magical tampering.
Question your cheesemonger. Trust no fondue!
