SPY REPORT
Welcome, Lapurians to another round of combat on the arena sands. I am Eoghan, Lapur's
best spy reporter--well the Bloke says so and no he didn't bribe, encourage or
threaten me to say that. Now let's get back up to speed. No invitees to honor and our
Duelmaster Zoloft has been on the throne 2 times now, with no Duelmaster Column last
time. We can always hope. So will the tourney managers return to fill our ranks once
again? Will anyone get an invite to the Isle? Will Zoloft make it a three peat? I am
terrible at guessing what will happen, so let's get down to business and find out.
Well, 10 teams in the ranks, with 2 inactive, Eli and his Madness and Destitute Noble
and the Duelmaster and clan. There are 2 returning guilds that appear to be tourney
prepping, Wrathmen and Manager and his Superior Forces. Welcome back to you both. From
those teams we get 15 fights in the arena, five of which are Challenges and that
leaves ten commission matchups. With ZOLOFT taking the week off, that left PAERIS of
MID EARTH to fight a PENNILESS LORD. What a tough break, lose all your money, then
have to fight for your life in the arena. It didn't take long for PAERIS to win and
take the title for third time. Congrats!!
In Team news, the Bloke and his AVOID ME! trio secured a 2-1-0 record to take the top
spot in the ranks. Visioinst and his MID EARTH crew has a 2-3-0 result to take 2nd in
the ranks.
Obregon and his WAR PARTY tribe managed a 2-2-0 to emerge with 3rd spot in the ranks.
The Team on the Move is Master Beru's ARMY OF DARKNESS. after they took in 43 points
in recognition. The Most Avoided team is naturally AVOID ME!, who had 12 avoids
directed towards them, the next closest had only 4 avoids.
This week's Challenge fights...
AS THE CROW DIES of ALMOST EXACTLY challenged KUSAAR of WAR PARTY, with Vlad's soap
opera warrior being devastated by Obregon's mystery warrior in 2 minutes.
LOTS OF KNOTS of ALMOST EXACTLY challenged UNCAS of WAR PARTY, with Vlad's braided
warrior entangling Obregon's mohegans chief in a 2 minute victory.
IGNORANCE IS BLISS of ALMOST EXACTLY challenged SACAGAWEA of WAR PARTY (wow 3
challenges), with Vlad's fool warrior defeating Obregon's Shoshone warrior in 3
minutes. This is my "Fight of the Week." Well fought to you both.
BOUNCE THIS OFF U of ALMOST EXACTLY challenged BIG TROUBLE of I'M THE WOLF, with
Vlad's rebounding warrior got in big trouble with the Unknown Wolf's vexing warrior
and losing in 2 minutes.
COVID of AVOID ME! challenged MOON BLADE of ARMY OF DARKNESS, with the Bloke's
diseased warrior eclipsing Master Beru's lunar warrior in a 3 minutes.
In other individual news, the Biggest Gainer is DEMON D*KE after gaining 24 points.
The Biggest Loser is CLANCEE, who lost 14 points. This Week's Favorite is so popular
they gave him three names, WOO WOO WOO. It was actually annoying listening the crowd
chanting it over and over. Well, lookie here, another invitee for the Isle. Congrats
to PAERIS on his invite. We will honor you in 2 weeks. Congrats! One final thing: I
have noticed the Dark Arena and Death list remain strangely silent once again. That
