I am writing this just a few days before the grand tournament. I am nervous. Will I be
fast enough? Will I hit hard enough? (Nobilify probably thinks that I do.) Have I
actually found my favorite weapon? Only time will tell. Good luck to me.

SPY REPORT
If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
LAPUR brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Later days, MID EARTH, since ARMY OF
DARKNESS took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. Now keep the
taverns open late tonight, for there are sorrows to drown for MID EARTH, whose 0-0-0
this turn dropped them by 6 into 7th. Ha! AVOID ME! turned their 3-1-0 turn into a
2nd place rank in the listings this turn. Any better than this, and you get put on
hit lists. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see STONE HINGE win a fight
and gain 25 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, CANCER beat UNIVERSAL STUDIOS and UNIVERSAL
STUDIOS lost 19 points. You're breakin' my heart. And if variety is the spice of
life, LAPUR may be getting bland, as SMOOTH OPERATOR stays top dog in the city. The
Burning Tree, humph! I've tasted better ale at mortuaries. Where do they get this
stuff? From LAPUR's trash dumps?
Well, let's take a look at some more misdeeds of you miserable sword-boys.
LAPUR, I am losing what little hope I had in you. ARCANE PHARMACY the most avoided
team? What insult will suffice, I cannot say. And who led the way in this mass act
of cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was TOURIST TRAPS. Ha ha ha ha!
ENTITLED CITIZEN was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was
the DM insulted or feared? Heh, heh.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. NEON VELVET has cause to pause today, as
LARRY was sent to the Dark Arena, and came back--though not in the best of moods,
I'll wager. Bye bye, warrior, bye bye... DEEP WELL 900, a glorious 12-11-0 fighter,
has passed away. Gee, too bad BLACK KELTS. Titanium shields and bamboo daggers,
guess what brave team is developing these kinds of weapons?
What does the LAPUR arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Phlllt! Just had to do that
before I leave the fine city of LAPUR. I feel much better now. I see the crowds are

Well, well, well... the end of an age. Petrified Sponge is moving up... Or rather,
toward retirement. We'll see if the USPS ever decides to bring his turn, but with the
ladies in Pittsburgh and then recovering... Well, suffice to say I don't expect to
know his favorites for another week or so. 15(2)-17(3)-12-7(2)-21-8-11 TP. Started
Great ENDurance and ended up being straight Mode for END (confirmed when he moved to
TREMENDOUS END in his 5th fight) and no other bonuses that I've spotted so far. Almost
positive he'll come back as a DEFense favorite learn since they represent nearly half
of his learned skills to this point. As mentioned previously though, PS likely heads
