Pursue

This commands one of your units to pursue a unit, but not actually join up with it. If you pursue an allied unit, you will track it down and follow nearby. If the allied unit moves into a new hexagon, the pursuing unit will also move there when it can. If you pursue an unallied unit, you will track it down and attack or explore it. If the unallied unit being pursued is not sighted, the pursuing unit will not move, waiting for a sighting to occur. This order is canceled if the unit retreats from battle, dies in combat, is given a pursue "NOONE" order, or is given new movement orders. The unit moves via the quickest path (lowest MP cost).

Example: U2001 PURSUE U2009
(Unit U2001 pursues Unit U2009; U2009 may be an ally's or non-ally's unit)

Example: U2001 PURSUE NOONE
(Unit U2001 stops pursuing its destination unit)

You can also give this order to a community. The community won't pursue, but every unit built henceforth at that community will be issued the pursue order. Once issued, a community movement order will remain, turn after turn, until changed or canceled. To cancel this order, order the community to pursue "NOONE".

Example: C100 PURSUE U2009
(All units built at Waterdeep [C100] after this order is issued will pursue U2009)
