Has there been any changes to the game in the past decade? Pretty much the same? Prices change? Just curious.

There have been no changes to the game mechanics or cost over the past decade. There have been a few tweaks with tournaments and arena contests, however.
In the Primus class in tournaments, token prizes (usually one bonus potion or ZAP) are awarded to the highest placing finisher of each style that doesn't TC (so 9 stylemaster awards are given out each tourney).
In the Primus arena, there is a great contest held every two years called the King of Primus. Managers enter with teams of five warriors of five different styles, and they battle it out over several turns until there is only one left undefeated. Managers draft from a pool of fun and not-to-powerful prizes based on their ranking in the contest, and the winner gets to pick some decrees for the following turn. One of the ones that is usually selected is to Defend the Gate for a turn, allowing warriors to fight NPCs for the turn after the contest if they desire.
The cumulative effect of these two changes is that more people are developing non-AB and non-LU warriors in Primus, which makes the game a little bit more fun at the top end.
Basic remains very much the same, although the three no-tourney arenas (20, 81, and slow 83) provide some old-school flavor if you are into that kind of thing.
Welcome back!

Nothing new in Basic as OAB notes above. You and Bosk need to plan a return tour. No tourney arenas are a nice throwback.

Thanks for the info and update! It just happened Bosk did call me today and we yucked it up for about 45 minutes, but I admit, I did not bring up DM and posting here as I didn't even think about it. Must be thinking about my vacation next week. Thanks again. Will think long and hard about coming back, I am just on my second week of not playing WoW, as I am taking a pause and going on vacation anyway. I have played WoW since I left DM, around what, 10-11 years ago. I have enjoyed a lot of it, not enjoyed some of it, and it is pretty simple to "do your own thing" or "run with the pack" as your time and mood fits. But I am taking a break as I was down to about 3-4 hours anyway. Nice to see some of you folks still here. Was it really like 1983 that I started playing Duelmasters?! Yikes, getting old.

Which reminds me there is another significant change to DM, since your "time". We are ALL older! (And more friendly to each other, and presumably more mature.)
