Hi there, new player here, do you have any suggestions on how to build these warriors?
15-9-7-10-10-9-10
10-12-12-9-11-11-5
12-7-14-10-5-12-10
3-12-14-13-7-14-7
10-9-20-7-6-13-5
Thanks in advance for your advice!

Kegalan,
You will get help, I am sure.
But, The Consortium family avoids offering design ideas unless the owner offers first what he might be thinking. So, maybe later from me.
I do however have some very useful suggestions:
1. Be sure to have this new team placed in arena 93, the arena for newcomers and long-ago-player-returnees. In that arena are 4 mentors who will offer advice to any question to help newbies.
2. Backread arena 93 newsletters. In the last 10 or so, there have been at least 3 articles on how to/what experienced managers do to design new warriors. Indeed, the very next NL, which will appear Monday, has an article on how to design and how a specific mentor designed his team starting that turn in the arena.
3. Check out the Chatzy site for discussions with managers.
4. Do what you just did, ask for advice on this site.
5. When you send the team in to arena 93, ask RSI for the C.I.C. package (free) Lots of advice to newbies in it.
Ii will say this, you have an interesting team there to design.
GOOD LUCK
P.S. When you get in DM93, be sure to ask Assur, Hammer, Jorja, and The Consortium rep any questions you have.

15-9-7-10-10-9-10 ---> 17-9-7-15-15-10-11 LU/SL/BA would be best bets.
10-12-12-9-11-11-5 --->10-12-12-15-17-11-7 SL, train ST to 11 right off for broadsword use!
12-7-14-10-5-12-10 ----> 15-8-14-15-9-12-11 a solid low-WL striker
3-12-14-13-7-14-7 ---> 9-14-14-17-9-14-7 parry-strike or striker. The 3 ST guys are usually tricky designs.
10-9-20-7-6-13-5 ---> 13-9-20-13-9-13-7 BA or ST once again. A common practice is if you can't get WL to at least 15, then leave it at 9 and spend points elsewhere as there are no skills in between. Same idea with DF, if you can't make it to the major break point of 11, go 7 or lower.
I tried to give you some solid basic designs with not a lot of trains or "burns" needed. First guy is definitely the most solid. Hope to see you in Sunset at some point! Welcome to the game!

Yes. We all welcome you. You will find D2 managers helpful rather than cutthroat.

Greetings The Consortium,
I was thinking along the following lines:
15-9-7-10-10-9-10 ---> 21-15-7-10-10-9-12 TP
10-12-12-9-11-11-5 ---> 15-13-12-15-11-11-7 BA
12-7-14-10-5-12-10 ---> 12-10-14-15-11-12-11 SL
3-12-14-13-7-14-7 ---> 9-12-14-13-9-17-10 ST
10-9-20-7-6-13-5 ---> 16-13-20-8-7-13-7 BA
Thank you all for your advice!

[quote="Kegalen"]Greetings The Consortium,
I was thinking along the following lines:
15-9-7-10-10-9-10 ---> 21-15-7-10-10-9-12 TP
10-12-12-9-11-11-5 ---> 15-13-12-15-11-11-7 BA
12-7-14-10-5-12-10 ---> 12-10-14-15-11-12-11 SL
3-12-14-13-7-14-7 ---> 9-12-14-13-9-17-10 ST
10-9-20-7-6-13-5 ---> 16-13-20-8-7-13-7 BA
My thoughts:
#1 look at Stik's advice above. I would go with the 15/15 WT warrior
#2 I like your idea. I would probably put that last point on SP rather than CN and get that extra decise skill.
#3 tough one to work with; I would not make it a SL, because the SL really needs the WL/endurance; I would consider making #1 a SL (@Stik's design)
I think ST right away due to the low WL, taking the WL only to 9 and adding those 2 points to either ST or SP
#4 My first thought is take that 17 WT, hence it would be 9-12-14-17-9-16-7 definitely a ST
#5 another tough one to work with. It would probably be a 15-9-20-11-9-13-7 BA for me.
You will probably end with all offensives on this team due to the low will startings, and if you wanted a defensive TP/scum, I would consider #2 adding 6 to WL and CN and 2 to ST

Welcome to our addiction.
I realize that you are a new player and Parry Riposte is one of the more challenging styles, but I just wanted to show you a possible alternative.
#! - 15-9-7-10-10-9-10 = 15-12-7-15-11-9-15 PR
If you decide to try it, send me a message and I will give you some tips.

Great idea, Chris!
AND, if he were to backread the DM93 NLs, he would find a recent article all about those "rippers".

The first one could be a fun burner. 16-9-7-16-16-9-11, probably lunger. Bump the stats up to 17-9-7-17-17-9-11. A guy like that could make for interesting reading. Personally, no matter how new I was I would rather play in an active arena and take my knocks, unless I was running more than one team.

I really love these builds, thank you all for your insightful input.
I've started reading the backlogged arena 93 newsletter, lots of good stuff there too!
