I gave a short introduction recently in the Nooblish newsletter, and thought i would go ahead and do so here also.
I'm a returning manager of limited experience, I ran a team called The Bloodguard in Jhelum back in 90/91ish (give or take a year) . I came in with no knowledge whatsoever, and my first designs as you can probably imagine did not survive very long. It was a little frustrating but i remember a lot of helpful articles appearing in the newsletter, and some helpful managers as well, and my designs improved somewhat as i learned the importance of Wit, Will and Deftness. I acquired a copy of the Enchiridion which had a lot of useful info as well as helping me better understand skills and the concept of burning. I eventually was able to graduate three warriors: first a PS followed by a PR and finally a Lunger; and i was happy to find out that i'd correctly determined each ones favorite weapon and come very close to favorite the OE and AL. I ran a handful of fights in ADM , i believe all losses, and then retired as college expenses took over the budget.
Many many years later i was doing some cleaning and came across my old copy of the Enchiridion. I quick online search showed me the game was still active so decided to give it another try, and here I am. Though I do have some experience, I'd still label myself as a novice. I'm currently getting my feet wet again in the Nooblish arena with a new team, and looking forward to joining a regular arena soon.
Take care and good luck all,
Donner and the Fighting Irish

Welcome back!
Be sure to read all the articles that cycle through the Noblish Island newsletters, as they will help you get up to speed very quickly. Assur and Consortium are also very helpful (when they aren't trying to kill each other).
When you are done with your ten turns in Noblish Island, let us know where you decide to send your team!

Welcome back! Whatever arena you decide to play in, I think you'll quickly remember how much fun it still is.
People here are very friendly and feel free to post any questions you have, including suggestions on warrior design. You'll receive a lot of helpful advise.
Good luck on the sands and remember each loss in the arena is just a small delay in becoming the Duelmaster of the games.

Welcome back to the game! I think I actually remember you from Jhelum, way back then I ran a team there called "Swords of Sergio", with characters named after the Groo comics.
I, too, quit playing for about 10 years and came back about 5 years ago. I found that the game had changed quite a bit, especially in the upper end of Primus, where Aimed Blows now dominate. The basic pre-ADM game is still much the same, except when it comes to tourneys.

As one of your "mentors" in DM93 Noblish, I thought I would welcome you here also. You asked some questions and they are/were answered in the newsletter. Our greatest advice is read the current and older DM93 newsletters, read all you can on this site, get familiar with the Terrablood site, and join Chatzy (free) to chat with some of the best in the game.
We are so glad you are back.

Thank you all for the welcome, and yes i see there is a bunch of info available and I've been doing a lot of reading. I received the CIC and have been going through the past issues of the DM93 Newsletter... quite a lot to digest but all very informative.
Buri wow yes i do remember you and Swords of Sergio, I recall you ran warrior named Groo back then, a striker I believe.
Good luck all and looking forward to seeing more of you all on the sands!

Yep, Groo was my first-ever TV, and dominated the arena. He was one of those ordinary rollups that was gifted in all the right places. 11-12-8-17-15-10-11 ST with good damage and good endurance. That, and I found his favorite Broadsword early on.

Greetings again all!
I had came back for a bit in 2016 and played for about a tear, but life ended up getting in the way and I had to stop. I decided to start playing again recently, and hope I'll be able to stick around a bit longer this time. I'm continuing with The Fighting Irish in Arkers and started a new team Caress of Steel in Niytyole Island.
Good luck and take care all,
