I think warriors were "frozen" for this tourney some time in September. So if LT got any CN trains in the Eligibles tourney before then, he probably doesn't have those...plus you go down so quickly from Arm shots anyway....definitely on the odd side though, I never realized Short Sword Parries could do that much damage, I'll have to play around with it for sure.

I was surprised that in one of the fights, two Short Swords actually broke! It's rare to see one break, kind of shocked that there was a fight with two of them breaking. (And Vision actually had a 2nd backup!)

Shame you wouldn't see the same results in a tourney.

I was just thinking to myself last week that if this were a regular tourney format, that we'd likely have a similar Final 4 (The 3 AB's and someone else), but glad that the format played a factor (mainly the lack of alternate strategy) into the end game. I do think that Vision's win could cause teams to take their defensive slots more seriously next time.

For instance do they use the AB's damage rating and ability to hit the same spot for damage? (which would account for the gravely injured if you hit the same spot 3 times with his own damage rating) Or do they just use the TP's damage rating?

It seems weapon-related to me. For example, it takes Patience about 8 Parries (same place) with a Large Shield to finish off a bare-handed AB in Primus, but if he tries to use a Scimitar, it's 12+ and I almost always break the weapons before I can find out the actual number...

Congrats, Kellumbo on the Cinderella win! Gossamer did not know at the time he was eliminated by the eventual winner in their close fight.

Congrats, Dark One for the clever predictions and new rollups!

And thanks to everyone that made this possible!

I need to start listening to my gut more. I should've known better as my AB, Atrophy, in 105 can't even hit Vision I was wondering if he'd parry out the open handers but went with the style matchup instead. For once the little voice in my head was NOT leading me astray and I should've listened to it as I called 2 earlier fights (Natas and Jackson round 2?) but didn't pick them and also again voiced concern about Vision's prowess.

All hail Vision the ANDORIAN!

Easily the highlight of Vision's career, and for me this moment only comes behind my TCs. Talk about the 2:30 AM, double fist pump moment!

I know I shouldn't, but here is Vision. I hope you enjoy looking at the fights knowing exactly what was up. Maybe TMM and TUM will do the same, as I would love to see exactly what those two ABs look like.

237 FE Total Parry 22(9) 25(11) 9 20(5) 25(Cool 11 14(4). Awesome/Great +4 init, -1 decise. MO/LO SH, Response tactic. Skills of 34 28 34 38 27 29. I am fairly certain his exact rhythm is 5-4.

Every minute of the fights he ran 5-4-5 HE/HE Response.

For the longest time I used SH/SH with him, and recently switched over to SH/LG after some conversations with Managerr. Because of the weight formula I use to figure out carry, after he was loaded up into his APA/F SH/LG, I had 5 points of carry left over, thus the double SH and a single DA backup. Good thing he had them all, because in the last fight I believe he was down to his last SH.

The current plan for him is to try to make a WT train at some point two turns before a tourney, then try to train WT an entire tourney, in hopes of a decent showing. He's currently at 273 DI, so I think he is kind of close to the line for Eligibles.

I'm already looking forward to the next regional tourney. Kudos to everyone involved. For Andorak!

Congrats to Kellumbo!

This was really a cool format. Also, as a manager without guys that are deep into AD it was very interesting reading the fights and the commentary. (Thanks Kellumbo!) There are many things about the end game that I do not know. But I am learning, and things like this help a great deal.

Thanks to all!
