Seeing as how I haven't gotten notices, and I've only just started paying attention to ADM ranks (since I just graduated my first warrior)...

Is there a separate tournament for warriors that have been inducted into ADM but haven't foughten a single fight there yet? Or is it just all ADM warriors? I don't remember what the definitions of "Freshmen" and "Eligibles" are.

If I have a warrior close to graduating basic, is it best to just hold off so that he can fight as a Champion?

Thanks for your help!

Freshmen is for ADM warriors who meet one of the following criteria:

1) They have never before qualified for a post-basic tournament.
2) They have 49 FE or fewer
3) They have a VERY low skill set.

Eligibles is for warriors who are eligble for Primus. That seems to be around 220 skills, but that varies based on your stat raises, too.

If you have a warrior who's about to graduate, I don't really think it matters much. Freshmen is a bit harder than Champs, but a Champs TV is probably close to being able to TV Freshmen as well.

What do you mean by #1? It sounds like you are saying that a warrior will automatically get to fight Freshman in his first tourney. Were you trying to say that #1 is a warrior who graduates to ADM after the split, but before the tourney?

Lucky, I'd say it like this.
1) A normal warrior needs to be 49 FE or less as of the ADM split to fight
Freshman.
2) Some VERY low skill warrriors can stay Freshman with more FE.
3) Also, warriors who graduate to ADM after the ADM split, but before the
tourney usually get missed by the ADM split program and fight Freshman.

My number one is taken directly from the RSI freeze information. They always say that a warrior may fight Freshmen if he has never fought an ADM tournament before. I rephrased it because I would think that you can't keep a guy Freshmen by not fighting him in any tournaments while you wait to max out and do a bunch of trains.

#1 is obviously not saying that a warrior fights freshmen his very first tourney, because the line before it reads

So basically, your three criteria are exactly what I already posted.

Yes, except in a way that explained it more accurately. I didn't mean for you to get defensive, I was just trying to make it more clear. A warrior with 100 FE and 200 skills that gets his invite this turn meets your criterion #1 and yet will never get a Freshman tourney. You initial post and second post both make it sound like that _to me_. That was the point that I was trying to make. I'm sorry if I you feel that I offended the honor of your answer somehow by trying to clarify.

LIke I said, I was simply going by RSI's posted criteria. I have never seen nor heard of a warrior ever being forced past Freshemen. If you have, then I have to bow to the greater experience in this matter.

And I wasn't being defensive at all, I was merely re-stating my post.

Yeah, I've had one, maybe two warriors who when they graduated immediately went to ADM class and had no freshman tourney. Both were guys who had high FE though.

It's happened to me, and I've only got half a dozen graduates.
