Sandman asked me to post this on the forums for him:
I'm planning to liquidate everything I have in the game, with the exception of my teams in 47 (my original team), 60, and the six warriors I give a crap about (Nebuchadnezzar, Samsara, Samurai, Malt-O-Meal, Dicky V, and Shotgun Gandhi). I want to sell or give away all my remaining teams, warriors, and rollups. If interested please email me at:

Losing any players is sad and unfortunate. The game is great but fragile. Sorry to see anyone liquidate.

At least he's hanging onto his core teams and warriors. I don't doubt he'll be back at some point.
I thought he was one of the managers who vowed to quit after RSI implemented the new TC-and-you're-moved-up-a-class rules last year. I always wonder how managers make out with these liquidations...

My thanks to Darrell for posting for me.
Regarding the liquidation, I realize times are hard and I'm not looking to make a fortune. I don't want to drag this out. I'll take any reasonable offers. I'll either sell or delete everthing I have, save the few teams and warriors I've decided to keep.
And, about the downsizing, I'll never say never, but it's HIGHLY unlikely that I'll ever come back to the game in any larger capacity than the present (six warriors). In the course of the past year 14 months, I've been unemployed and managed to find work again at 60% of my previous salary. During that time, I've cut back drastically on my game play and realized that after 20 years of playing this game, it's essentially run it's course for me. I really don't give a crap about DM anymore. Between that and issues I have with RSI, it's just not something I want to spend any more than the absolute minimum on anymore.

I plan to have my RU in a similar document by the end of the weekend.

Thanks to all who responded regarding the RU. I've sold all 29 of them. I still have some existing teams left, though.
