Argh! Forgive me for not getting the update into the newsletter. Not sure what happened there, my mind is slipping in old age. Lots of slow or no movement this turn with the exception of Champions who gets +2 points without getting a single challenge through. Manager remains atop the leader board but gained 0 points going 2 and 2. It is still a tight race and only 10 points seperate the top 5 teams.

It's starting to look like there's some collusion going on here. That's unfortunate. |

It's the subtle things. Like certain managers being totally predictable in their challenges and then not taking the easy points when they can, managers who were challenging each other and then aren't anymore, etc. |

Bah! Just because your pulling ahead and people start challenging you doesn't mean collusion!
Although you must have someone on your side! While it might not have been the best challenge I timed challenging Sallance just right with outgoing DM but ended up random. I thought the DM got priority in challenges? |

Hah, I would deny it too if I were colluding! In some cases it has nothing to do with me as people are passing up some suspicious good matchups/easy wins (and making other challenges). Not counting obvious no-challenge agreements (like by people in the same alliances) of course.

Dunno, I've been extremely low % in getting in my TV challenges through too. I would have welcomed the challenge, I think Sallanche should be favored against everyone in the arena right now.. |

I know damn he gets challenged once and it's collusion. What else are the voices telling you. It was an aimer against a TP pretty obvious challenge. I actually would have preferred Tosha because your TPs scare me a little more.
BTW speaking of collusion: I know you didn't avoid because Trip didn't DQ you,and I know your too smart to make that faux pas. But I challenged Dead Urn with a primary challenge. I got my secondary challenge, and lost, and Dead Urn got a random match. Who you paying off at the commission anyways |

Nah I was only one who got a challenge through so it seemed obvious. |

Really? Its pretty cool seeing what happens when no one avoids. I have also challenged warriors and randomly matched up with soemone as well as the person I challenged randomly matching up. I don't get that at all.
BTW, I still get the challenge reports every week and so far everyone is following perfectly. I dread someone doing it this deep in the contest though. |

I thoguht it was Manager who said he thinks it goes by recognition points as to whose challenge gets lined up first. And despite the chance of a CC having more recognition than a DM I think the DM is still technically ranked highest. If you look at it the fight results come out in order of recognition at the time of the fight. And when the DM challenges his fight is first in the challenge list, after Bloodfeuds (highest priority) and TVs (next highest priority) of course, if he's challenged it is not always first, and in a random matchup it's first.
The most interesting thing I ever had happen was double challenging a guy in a contest and then randomly matching them. Maybe their avoid worked on my challenge but they couldn't escape fate |
