Only 6 more turns till Halloween's Turn 666 prepare thy self now for the evils of hell shall be prevalent upon the sands...more so than the Angels and Devils we already have for even they will be subject to a higher/lower power as the case maybe....but this is still Aug so there is time to celebrate, hoot and holler, reconnoiter and such
Do you think we will see a DM column this time? Probably since it is Jorja and she likes to write.
Who will be surrent top team this time out? Not sure, gunna be interesting to see who ends up on top but I would not put it past those devils again.
Will Psirena hold on to the throne? Probably not, not even sure he/she will survive the fight.
Will Undercover Lily survive the BF? If yes, will she win? I sent her in with a tailored strat so we shall see, but the PR vs LU fight favors the LU...
Will all these teams sitting out for the tourney return? If yes, will they fight a full squad? My sources tell me "I dunno, I just dun know..." (and they put their arms in the air while shruggin) they are absolutly no help. Anyone got a spare spy leing around I could borrow? Hmmm...?
Will there be any new teams or returning teams this time? The new ones I know of are still setting up shop (RL work) and will be a little while still. Maybe by turn 662.
What are the rest of you Freeblading Arvatians thinking?
EDIT: One more thing, the Squirrels will be going 4-1-1 this time out

you read that wrong, the BF was the other 1 (the last one, you know the 4-1-1
I understand your confusion though, if I were facing me I would automaticly assume the latter too

And just to be clear so as not to cause any confusion. I like all my guys so please do NOT BF any of my guys with massive DCs hopeing for a kill. Using a TP just to get the BF satisfied is perfectly acceptable.

Saw a pretty impressive Caesar-like downchallenge Bloodfeud from Destitute Noble onto one of the Rabbit's guys this turn.
Seeing as I killed one of the Noble's guys this turn I wonder if I should expect some of the same?
Also killed a Black Orc this turn with a scrub.
And lost to Khalums Dwarf with a former TC... Most have had a weapon break issue or something, because that really shouldn't happen!
No turn for me either, but it's like 50/50 on Arvat turns showing on Saturdays.

Had a 4-1 turn and took the DM. Alas all my challenges directed at a cettain someone seem to have been ignored by the matchmakers. I did get my challenge thru to the DM though and took the crown. Just a few political points to go and he'll be out of here. By the way Rabbit 4-11...jeez man thats embarassing

Good job by Roger...
Damn chicken squirrels.
I have to give credit for the BF you had no chance of winning...
You have at least a couple more chances before I need to hold him out pre tourney...
I'd suggest more practical challenges for the rodent armada, however!!!

No turn for me either, but it's like 50/50 on Arvat turns showing on Saturdays.
Even those of us (at least me) in AZ did not get their turn Saturday either - I was reduced to looking online to see my new PS get killed by Eurydice (you actually saved our squad a bunch of losses - and me some of my hair, so I thank you for that. What was I thining making a 17-17 PS try to be offensive?)
As for your above quote...let's hold up there hoss! The intent was to avenge the death - not cause a bunch more dramatics. Unlike the recent goings on in 81 I used a MUCH lower kill desire than I would normally and aimed for non-vitals so please don't lump me into that category (you caused a shudder when I read the words "Caesar-like" - at least you did not say, "COL-like" then I would've taken offense). If you look at my only remaining low FE guy you'll see he is a slasher. I'm guessing were the roles reversed you would usually not BF a striker with a slasher at low FE either, I'd likely have another death to avenge had I done that. Looks like I'm in the same position next turn since Eurydice is a striker also - I'd expect to see For the Godlings were I you. I'll do my best to scum my way to a BF win and will not be surprised if you beat him, or at the very least take him for 5 skills.
You don't really owe me an explanation - but I'm curious why you gotta try and make a brother look bad? If you took just a few seconds to look at the newsletter and see my remaining guys I'm guessing you would not have cast me in such a bad light? Or in you opinion should I just not have BFd?

Marty,
To be perfectly honest, I'd have probably done the same thing - I avenge all my deaths and as aggressively as possible. I was just impressed with the BF. Most managers wouldn't make that big downchallenge even with the BF pending, especially with the big BF kill controversy going on in the no tourney arena. I was actually impressed/surprised.
I thought the "Caesar-like" comment would be a bit of a barb - as a big BF downchallenge would have been something he'd relish. But I found it amusing. Perhaps I was in a bit of a rabble rousing mood when I wrote it.
Depending on if Eurydice Troyer learned anything, I may or may not DA her this turn. She's a pretty average warrior and I've been very unhappy with her learning curve. I almost pulled the trigger and DAed her this past turn. So we shall see.

Still no turns today for 12 and 32. Either RSI ran out of paper, or they refuse to send my turns until I get back to a positive balance (won't happen until there is a cold day in Hell), or they absconded with all of our money and are basking on the beach in Costa Rica.
Should we take a poll and see which we think it is? I'll have to vote for the "positive balance" option - I don't think any of the ladies speak Spanish - though to be fair I don't know them enough to say...
