okay, its not going to happen now, but soon after the tourney i am gonna have a contest called "Youngbloods three and out". its gonna be pretty much how it sounds. you enter a team in the contest each warrior will continue fighting until he/she loses three times, then it is out until all warriors are gone except one, the last warrior without three losses of course. here are some of the rules that i have came up with:
all warriors will start with 0 fe NO SANDBAGGING
one team per manager
contest will take place in a closes arena
three losses to a warrior means elimination
if a warrior sits out a turn that warrior is accounted with a loss(this is to keep warriors from deciding to stop running and then start again when the contest is nearly over)
there is no point system
i am hoping to get a challenge free for all, this meaning that despite what the recognition all challenges are possible (this one is still in consideration)
once a warrior is eliminated that warrior cant run until the contest is over
though you will recieve a replacement, the replacement cannot run until the contest is over, this is to keep any warroir that didnt start fighting when the contest started from interfering
there is only gonna be a first and second prize
if you guys agree, each manager would send $5 to rsi for rollups that will be awarded to the winner and runner up, according to how many participate will determine this
i am still working out the details, prizes, and other ideas with rsi, there may also be another twist in this contest as well.

Youngblood,
I'll participate in the contest. But has RSI already ok'ed this contest? Well, the details/prizes? If possible DM 68 would be nice to have it in. I played there back when I was in High School.

Sounds interesting, and I'm certainly interested.
A few questions though (and forgive my naivete, but...);
What does NO SANDBAGING mean?
Is the entry fee $5 then? Paid to RSI and then the winner(s) gets, what exactly?

sandbagging is running warriors in tourneys only then releasing them in basic, the only way you can tell is there really high recognition after only one fight.
if everyone agrees, yes the entree fee is $5, which goes towards rollups that are to be given to the first and second place winners.
other prizes will be inlcuded.

Okay, so we've got to use established warriors from other arenas, or is everybody making new warriors for this contest?

you will need to use a team that hasnt been ran yet, whether it be a new team rollup, or a team in an arena that hasnt been ran yet..
oh yeah there will be a grace period, which will give you a chance to get the warriors that you want to run in this contest, so the only warriors that you can run are the warriors you DA before the contest, any warrior with fe will be eliminated from the contest.

Cool.
One more stupid question and then I'll shut up and wait for you to tell us where and when and stuff like that...
Does that $5 fee cover the fights in the contest, or just the entry fee? It seems like a smoking deal on fights, considering the cost of tourneys. If there's a charge for each turn, would that fee be discounted because of the contest?

**It'll be the standard turn fee each turn.

very sorry for not keeping in touch, just havent had time this week to do much. anyways the contest will be held in 27, unfortunately, polarius, they will not allow me to use 68 or 69 because those are for tournament transfer warriors only, sorry. there will be an all arena post next turn, so make sure you read it.

Count me in on this contest. Sounds like fun. It'll be like the old days when they were opening new arenas with everyone at 0 FE.
When it's done though, will we be able to transfer the teams to any arena or just to transfer arenas?

Though a very promising proposition, get ready for the SCUM-Lords to pounce on this one.
