We are having Sandy check the strategy sheets as we are convinced we listed no challenges no avoids. (As we said in one persad.)

Thanks guys. I was aware of the problem. Correcting in my spreadsheet and scores posted in the newsletter should be correct. Three fights weren't scored (shown below). I assumed a maximum # of fights forgetting that non-contest teams also fight, so these three got omitted in the report.
CRATOS RAMIRO savagely defeated UNWANTED COMPANY in a 4 minute gory novice's bout.
DIAMONDBACK luckily beat FURIEL in a dull 8 minute bloody brawl.
HATRED beat MORDANT DESERTER in a 1 minute novice's conflict.

The rumors are true!
Little did we know that our cheap-axx manager was going to send in avoids, just to spot every other team a round in the Slaughter event. The stupid cretin! Our 4-1 and beautiful persads shall go to waste in round one Slaughter, as Expense Accounts deserves the full punishment of the round - a DQ. (No, not a blizzard, or a cone - rather a disqualification.)
We offered our manager up on E-bay, but so far have no bids.

I wish I could find a way that people would be ok with to allow you both to continue the contest, I feel bad because I meant to send an All-Arena Ad to remind everyone but it was stated clearly the list of the no-no's and when the contest started.
I know Rich would have tried to find a way to appease everyone, and he would be far more poignant in making the point, that we do this not just for the Prizes but for the fun.
We all play under the same rules in Basic, ADM, and Primus and by changing the rules of the game by "controlling behavior and making everyone live by a new version of the rules, as well as to get a taste of how much Judith gives to our game.
Employee, or not, strat changes or not, she has had to probably make up 4000 to 5000 names during this time for the arenas. She helps keep our Arena's with another team to fight... she could tell you, as will I, that there were many weeks when it was just me and her Doghouse in Tobir (DM14).
I always tell myself "she's an employee" and my super slow, frail AB doesn't want to chance it by being forced to fight her Striker.... Sooooo I'll down challenge her 30+ points to her TP or maybe even a WS if there's one. Not going to lie I have probably DC'd her roughly 100 times (from1 to 40s points wise) but we used to PA back and forth for months or years, until I got lazy and forgetful, especially when Tiny and Belle, even though neither said it, I'm sure they are married now on the Isle of the Eye.
In fact at one point I went to Solven with a new team because Kellumbo was clearly making huge DC, after HUGE DC, after trying to create a large % of wins via killing, not an accusation, nor a judgement, I just don't like to see it done incessantly. Started slow but I picked it up a bit, I even realized The Judge was getting DC's from 33 rec points and 4-1 or 5-2 record down to 0-1 or 0-2 and maybe 1-3 or 2-2. Took me a little time to get a fresh team going and see what they learn and decide if they would take more punishment

They were DQ'd for the entire contest?! Wow.
I had thought the rules were DQ'd for the turn. So if you run a warrior in a tournament you can continue but if you accidentally avoided your out completely?
Definitely not what Rich would want or do but rules are rules, I guess.

We, too, thought it was for the round. Shucks!
Oh, well, now we have all those nice people that we can challenge and they will not be avoiding. We will win our own event!

I thought everyone was starting with a new team.. it's probably my fault for not reading the rules well enough... since I missed the first round anyway, just consider me out..

Yeah this was entirely my fault so if there's not a major objection I'd like to say Consortium gets a 0 point turn and can continue on, and Juggalo Rydaz, since he scored negative would get a total of -4 points (as his entire turn score), since that's what Consortium lost in points.
The DQ was to try and deter someone who is way ahead in the score from taking a "non-scored turn" and make challenges and avoids to try and influence the outcome. Seeing as how this happened on the first turn, and I pretty much almost forgot when this contest started, due to RL, and did not remind everyone that this contest was starting, would like to find a way acceptable to keep these 2 teams in.
If we do find a way I'm really hoping that Juggalo Rydaz doesn't Bloodfeud again this next turn since there was no reprint of the rules... Which I probably, clearly, should have done the turn before the contest.
It can actually be something of a disadvantage to be running an experienced team since near the top of the ranks non-participants have less to choose from in the way of challenges.

So, you are saying that the team that did not play by the rules gets a zero point turn, but the teams that did play by the rules are anywhere from -1 to -6? Guess I should have made some challenges...
I don't object to letting Cons back in, but not with more points than law abiding teams. And, since I was the target of the bloodfued...and lost...that could have cost me a point. Put him/they/it back at the bottom with -6 and call it good.

I have to agree with Den. I don't care if they're let back in the contest, but they should get the lowest score possible of -6 instead of a 0.
